Father Scott is the team rector in Upton-cum-Chalvey. Throughout his career he has worked in parishes across London, served as a Chaplain in the Royal Navy and been a team rector in Bexley. He is married to Elizabeth who works in a local secondary school. Like all the clergy of the parish you will find him cycling around the parish rather than driving.

Fr Scott writes: " I am delighted to be the rector in central Slough where our historic churches are set in a vibrant, diverse and faith-filled town. St Mary's, St Laurence’s and St Peter’s have always been at the heart of the local community and I am looking forward to finding new ways in which we can love and serve our neighbours."

Fr Andrew is Team Vicar of Upton-cum-Chalvey with special responsibility for St Peter's, Chalvey and also serves as Chaplain to Slough & Eton Church of England Business & Enterprise College. He has served previously in parishes in Stoke-on-Trent, Dudley and Birmingham. In addition, he served overseas in Zambia and Kenya. The parish actually supported him and his wife, Caroline, during their time in Africa and he remembers fondly visiting St Laurence's at the time.

Fr Andrew writes: "Throughout my years in ministry, I have focussed upon education and interfaith relations. Working in the parish among our churches, in the wider community and in the school is, for me, an exciting opportunity. It's also good, after many years, to be returning to Oxford Diocese."
